  • the Burpee Song

i was reading a friend's facebook (hi Heather and Brian!) thread about burping contests, and decided to dig up this recording, a short clip of which i posted a while ago...it's no shock to those who know me, that i have a kid who shares my bizarre sense of humor...i love listening to her, trying to find the words to describe an announcer...this was her at age six, or so, long before she became aware of her comedic sharpshooting skills...enjoy, orrrr not!...heh heh
  • Life In Hell

©Michael J Manhoff- this is a bit manic... it's the musical adaptation of one man's descent into madness... written for another friend, who didn't make it past the 80's... RIP, my pal, Angel... one day, i will dust this off, and redo it, with my current skills... i was just rediscovering playing keys, here, for the first time since playing gospel, in a South Side Baptist Church on State Street, in Chitown, as a little boy... oh, yeah, sorry about the drum machine, although i did program it, a beat at a time...lol
  • Walkin' Dem Blues Away

Walkin' Dem Blues Away© Michael Manhoff and Barry Rederer... this was recorded at a weekly practice, sometime in the early 80's, with the late Barry Rederer on Guitar, and me, on bass guitar
  • perfect obsession

this is my dear friend, Samantha Wolf's song, 'Perfect Obsession', recorded at Leaky Palace Studios, with Sam on bass and vocals, and me on guitar... sorry, i only have this copy of a copy, from 1987... still, it rocks... we rock!
  • Goodbye c1990-mjm

i wrote this in 1990, following my father's death...i had too much emotion, and no words to describe my grief...so, i grabbed my guitar at 3:30 a.m....

  • Serve Somebody

this is Not Done Yet, having fun in this raw studio cut, covering a Bob Dylan tune... no one said cut, so we didn't... playing with these guys is one of my greatest joys.
